The Inventory Cycle Management page can be accessed by all users from the Inventory Cycle Management menu item under Reference Data on the EIS Gateway menu.

Facility Inventory Window

The Facility Inventory section indicates the status of the Emissions Inventory System for accepting both QA and Production Facility Inventory submissions from State, Local, and Tribal users. If the window is Open, the EIS is currently open for accepting Facility Inventory data from agencies. Until the submission window closes, you may continually update your data in the Production Environment. After the window is updated to a closed status, then the EIS will not allow any updates for new or existing data to Facility Inventory records in the EIS.

Inventory Cycles

The Inventory Cycles table displays the status of the submission windows for each inventory year by data category. A users “official submission” is comprised of all the emissions data data submitted through batch submission or provided online in the EIS Gateway when the submission window for the inventory cycle closes. Until the submission window is closed, you may continually update your data in the Production Environment.

Nonpoint Survey Window

The Nonpoint Survey window table indicates which inventory years are open for accepting responses via the Gateway’s Nonpoint Survey. Once a year has been updated to closed, no further responses are able to be recorded in the EIS Survey pages.
