Emissions Process: Process Regulations

You may view a full list of Regulations associated with an emissions process from the Applicable Regulations accordion. This section describes the process for viewing, adding, editing, or deleting regulations associated with an emissions process.

Applicable Regulations


The data tale in the accordion provides a listing of regulations that are applicable to the emissions process at a facility. The accordion table shows the following information:

Column Name Description
Regulatory Code Code that identifies the federal regulatory program or rule.
Regulatory Code Description Description of regulatory code.
Regulatory Code Subtype Description A description of the S/L/T or Federal Agency's program system code.
Regulatory Type Identifies the sub-type of federal regulatory code.
Agency Code Text Text describing the non-Federal regulation applicable to the emissions unit or process.
Comment Comments regarding the reported regulation data.
Last Updated On Date the information was last updated.
Last Updated By The person who made the last change.
Last Updated From Agency The agency to which the “Last Updated By” person belongs.

Viewing Applicable Regulations


After expanding the Applicable Regulations accordion menu within the View Emissions Process Detail page, you can view the details pertaining to the regulation in the data table.

Regulation Audit Log

Provides information about changes that have occurred to the information about the Regulations associated with an emissions process. It provides time-stamped values of data for the regulation, who made the changes, and what organization that person belongs. Please see the Applicable Regulations column listing if you need any descriptions of the fields presented.

Adding Regulation Records


If you have been authorized to update information for your agency, you will see an Add Regulation link in upper-right corner of the Applicable Regulations accordion. Add Regulation link in upper-right corner of the Applicable Regulations accordion.

Clicking on this link will open a form that will allow you to create a new regulation for the emissions process record by populating the fields.

Editing Emissions Process Regulations


If you have been authorized to update information for your agency and the facility inventory window is open, you can click on its Regulatory Code in the data table in the Applicable Regulations accordion:

Clicking on the “Regulatory Code Description” link will open a “Edit Regulation” form that will allow you to make changes to the information. Once all necessary fields have been populated, click on the “Save” button at the bottom of the form.

Clicking on the “Undo” button will clear the form of all entries and leave you on the “Edit Regulation” page. Clicking on the “Cancel” button will not save any of the information that you have filled out, and you will be taken back to the View Emissions Process Detail page.

Deleting Emissions Process Regulation Records


Clicking on the Red “X” icon at the right end of the row in the Applicable Regulations data table will allow you to delete a Regulation associated with the emissions process. You will receive a confirmation message asking if you’re sure you want to delete. Clicking OK will delete the Regulation from the emissions process and return you to the View Emissions Process Detail page. Clicking Cancel will not delete the regulation and you will remain on the View Emissions Process Detail page.
