CDB Activity Data

The “View / Add / Edit CDB Activity Data menu item from the EIS Gateway provides the functionality for you to view a list of MOVES model county data base inputs an agency has submitted for onroad and nonroad mobile source data. For State/Local/ and Tribal users, a list of all submissions for their agency (and any other agencies to which they have been granted access) are displayed.

Filtering the CDB Data


Click on the tabs at the top of the page to select to view EPA Default or data sets for your agency You may also specify an inventory year from the dropdown to view submissions for various available years.

The data table displays the Agency name, date and time submitted, the data category and the file size. The double arrows next to each column heading allow you to sort each column. Click on the column heading once and the list will be sorted in ascending order. Click the column heading a second time and the list will be sorted in descending order. At the bottom of the search results is a link that allows you to export the list of facility sites in CSV format.

You may download the submitted CDB dataset for your agency by clicking on the Download Current Dataset.

Clicking on the View Submissions link will navigate you to the CDB Submission History page.

Viewing CDB Submission History


The CDB Submission History table will display any submissions competed by the agency with the submission’s unique CDX tracking number, the status of the submitted file, the person that submitted the file, whether it was submitted as a production or a QA file, and the date and time the file was submitted to EIS. Clicking on the link for the CDX Tracking number will display the Submission Details page. The feedback report for the submission is available to review by clicking on the Download Report button.

Downloading Report


The feedback report for the submission is available to review by clicking on the Download Report link. The feedback report indicates critical errors and potential issues, for a file submitted to the QA environment or the Production environment and after the EIS has completed all validations. A user is expected to correct the problems with any data content or the XML document structure and resubmit the file to ensure the entire content of the document is checked.
