County By Sector Report


The County By Sector Report provides emissions data aggregated to a County geographic level in a flat file CSV format. A user can filter by pollutant, geographic area, Facility Source Type, NAICS, regulations, sector or Source Classification Codes.

The following report criteria are required when generating a County By Sector Report

Report Criteria

  • Dataset (One EPA Dataset plus one or more S/L/T Datasets can be selected)
  • Pollutant

The following filters are available to select from within the accordion style tables: (Filter Name – Table Column Headings)

Available Filters

  • Data Set (required) - Inventory Year and Data Set Name
  • Pollutants (required)
  • Geographic Locations - Type, Code, Geographic Description
  • Sectors
  • Reporting Periods
  • Tagged Data Handling - Tagged, Not Tagged
  • Emissions Operating Type

The following Columns will always be defaulted and included at a minimum in the report

Columns in the County By Sector Report

EPA Region Code Code that identifies the EPA region. 4 No No
State Postal abbreviation for a state where a facility is located. “NC” Yes No
FIPS State Code Numeric codes representing all states, outlying areas of the United States, freely associated states, and trust territories of the United States, as listed in FIPS publication 10-4. “01” Yes No
Tribal Name Name of the American Indian or Alaskan Native entity. “Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians” Yes Yes
FIPS Code The list is from FIPS Counties codes used for the identification of the Counties and County equivalents of the United States. “NC” Yes No
